Keith M. Wing
Keith M. Wing has an extensive 25-year career in nuclear project management, operations management and transition management in defense, energy and environmental industries. He serves as a Principal in The KeySource Group, Inc (KeySource) - a business management and human capital consulting company headquartered in Hudson, OH. In addition, Mr. Wing serves as President of KeySource HCI, LLC, a KeySource affiliate company that provides retained executive search and a full suite of human capital investment services. Prior to co-founding KeySource in 2001, Mr. Wing served in senior executive management positions at Washington Group International (WGI) (formerly Morrison Knudsen) and BWX Technologies(formerly Babcock & Wilcox).
KeySource and its affiliate company KeySource HCI, LLC, provide strategic services for clients that serve the commercial and federal government, energy, defense, environmental and engineering/construction markets. They deliver unique and complimentary services that couple strategic business consulting with executive recruiting and human capital management. Clients range from Fortune 50 industry leaders to smaller start-up firms, all of whom are engaged in the pursuit of business growth and transformation - - through the entire life-cycle of business transition ranging from major sales and project/program development initiatives, to joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions, divestitures, consolidations and organizational re-structuring.
At WGI, Mr. Wing served as Sr. Vice President and General Manager of the federal Project Division directing a $350M (annual) business unit delivering large design/construct, environmental, waste management and D&D projects for federal and commercial clients. Under Mr. Wing's management, projects received record safety and quality performance awards at multiple projects - one DOE project exceeding 5 million safe work hours without a lost-time accident. Mr. Wing was recruited to WGI (MK) to assist with the acquisition, integration and management of Westinghouse Government Services Company into MK.
At BWXT, Mr. Wing held various management positions with increasing responsibility during his term of nearly 21 years. His responsibilities included the startup of several business units and many joint ventures and subsidiary companies. He served as V. P. Business Development of the Federal Projects Division as BWXT grew rapidly into one of the DOE's largest services provider (600% growth in 4 years). Prior to that, Mr. Wing served in management positions U.S. DOE Naval Reactors program including 3 years as Program Manager for the design and manufacture of Naval aircraft carrier reactor plants and the Navy's M-140 spent nuclear fuel shipping and storage containers. Mr. Wing worked on many other navy reactor systems up to and including the Seawolf Class - delivering technically sophisticated nuclear systems under performance-based fixed-price contracts totaling over $250M. Mr. Wing also has 7 years in operations management and large-scale project management including the design/construct, operational readiness demonstration and startup/commissioning of two reactor manufacturing facilities and one NASA solid rocket motor manufacturing facility with capital investments totaling $300M. He holds two U.S. patents for technologies used in rocket motor manufacturing processes.
