Working as a consultant her responsibilities included determining asset valuation to prepare for liquidation and/or transfer of client holdings, revisions of outdated record-keeping systems, inventory control audits, planning and designing websites and marketing materials, preparing and presenting business plans to lending institutions while seeking capital for growth on behalf of her clients. Wendy also has provided retraining, identification and development of support talent, as well as coaching of leadership partners to achieve the maximum potential for successful teaming outcomes as they relate to small business enterprises.

During the early 1990’s, Wendy worked for Summa Health Systems merging the surgery staff of two independent hospital surgery facilities into one. Wendy developed/implemented a scheduling system design to cover the work of more than 300 surgery personnel who were each individually certified to cover specific surgery specialty units.

Wendy began her career when she was recruited to join the transition management team for Wendy’s International. She assisted in establishing site locations for new store ventures while conducting profitability studies, market trend analysis and community profiling. She was responsible for activities such as hiring support staff, overseeing construction, and planning the store grand openings. Wendy hired and trained more than 200 people, participated in the opening of 4 new stores, and increased the profitability of 6 failing franchise locations through re-training, conducting audits, staff assessments, and updating overall franchise appearance. Wendy attended Hiram College earning a Bachelor of Arts Business Management degree, magna cum laude. She remains an active member of the Alpha Society.
