JOB TITLE: President
LOCATION: Round Rock, Texas (Austin)
REPORTING TO: Divisional Managing Director
DIRECT REPORTS: Leaders of Engineering, Operations, Business Development and Finance & Administration functions

THE OPPORTUNITY:



NSPI is seeking a strategic business leader to direct, develop, and implement, an effective strategic growth plan. Qualified candidates will possess an entrepreneurial mind-set in order to effectively evaluate the organization’s current and future offerings utilizing the following approach:

 Develop and implement a 5-year Strategic Plan for profit growth that fully employs the potential of the business, its offerings, and marketplace.

 Establish and define appropriate organizational size and skills required to deliver the Budget and Strategic Plan objectives, as well as provide opportunities for its people to realize their full potential.

 Set and implement policies required for the proper conduct of the business (e.g. Sales Management, Quality, H&S etc).

 Identify potential teaming and acquisition targets.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



 Provide control, direction and motivation to all employees; manage direct reports and review their job content and performance through the PDP process.

 Review job content and performance at least annually through the PDP process with the aim of achieving continuous personal improvement.

 At all times to professionally represent Ultra, the business and its employees

 Conduct regular reviews, with the Senior Management Team and other business managers, necessary to understand and accurately forecast business performance.

 Adhere at all times to Group policies, particularly the Finance Manual and other applicable standards and procedures.

 Comply and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulatory and customer approvals and appropriate quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE:



 Bachelor’s degree in a science or engineering-based discipline
 Sound appreciation of the principles and best practice of engineering design, manufacturing processes and operations

 Understanding impact of personal style and behavior on organization

 Sound appreciation of the principles of business finance

 Experienced in formal sales management techniques

 Demonstrated experience in formal strategy formulation

SKILLS /EXPERIENCE:



 Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal, 1-1 and with a group

 P&L accountability for order execution or annual operational budgets over $2 million

 Experience of international marketing and exposure to a range of international cultures.

 Knowledge of the nuclear industry
